Thursday’s Testimony – Shannon

“Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.”    Isaiah 1:18

We were made to be loved and to love others. But until our love for God is greater than our love for anyone or anything else, our relationships can’t work the way they were designed. Shame and desperation drove Shannon Rants to the idol of misplaced love. Finally she discovered Jesus is the only one who truly completes us. Will you let Him heal you? Come hear her Testimony this Thursday.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”    2 Corinthians 5:17

Recovery Reminder

Principle 6: Evaluate all my relationships. Offer forgiveness to those who have hurt me and make amends for harm I’ve done to others, except when to do so would harm them or others. “Happy are the merciful.” Matthew 5:7 “Happy are the peacemakers.” Matthew 5:9

Step 8: We made a list of all persons we had harmed and became willing to make amends to them all. “Do to others as you would have them do to you.” Luke 6:31

Thursday Night’s Dinner:  Reed is cooking A Chicken, Bacon, Ranch, & Pasta Casserole with a side salad.  Grilled cheese are available as well.
