Service Opportunity:

On Sunday, October 23, we have the incredible opportunity to share with our entire church family what the Celebrate Recovery Ministry is and does. The time usually allotted for the sermon will be dedicated to sharing information about CR and there will be video testimonies, including cardboard testimonies, shared as well. Please be sure to attend one of the services at either campus and please be in prayer that the Lord would use this message to bring hope for healing to many who have yet to hear about or experience the CR Ministry.

We will have tables set up with books and information at both Campuses and will need people who want to be a part of this huge opportunity to touch lives.  Please talk to Jenny,Teri, or Dorothy to be a part of this.

“I was incredibly hesitant to visit CR, I was wondering am I messed up enough to go?  The beautiful thing I have discovered is that we are all messed up enough to go to CR.  The question CR helps answer is where am I off balance? When I look at what God wants in my life, I am way off the mark most of the time.  Once owning up to that; I was able to face not just my obvious issues, but some of the less obvious issues.  The reason’s I have a tendency to do the wrong thing.  The sooner I can figure those things out.  The sooner I can balance my life out with God Right There in the Center.  That’s what CR helped me to do.  Once you go once you find people of like mindedness.  That we are all trying to find healing in the name of Christ”   CR Participant.

Recovery Reminder

Principle 7: Reserve a daily time with God for self-examination, Bible reading, and prayer in order to know God and His will for my life and to gain the power to follow His will.

“Happy are those who Celebrate Recovery.”

Step 10: We continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong, promptly admitted it.

“So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall!”  1 Corinthians 10:12
