Testimony – Tommy

How great when those who have gone before us are willing to invest in others by sharing what they have learned along their journey of recovery. So many times God touches our lives through the lives of others. Come this Thursday night and allow God to encourage and strengthen you through Tommy’s testimony. Below is a glimpse at how God has worked in Tommy’s life.  When we surrender and allow God to  transform us, our lives develop meaning, our relationships grow deeper and we are free to become the person God has made us to be.

God transformed my mind and renewed my spirit when I surrendered through an act of faith.  I am now living happy, joyous and free.  Clean and sober for over 18 months.  I am experiencing a type of peace and freedom that my words cannot adequately describe.  It is supernatural.  My relationships are of higher quality and meaningful because I am free to be vulnerable.  I have a developing relationship with God.  I am accepting who I am in this life and redefining what’s important based on God’s Truth.  I am present.  I appreciate, value and am grateful for my life.

Matthew 17:20 says, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘move from here to there’ and it will move.  Nothing will be impossible for you.”
