“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” Galatians 5:1

Do you ever wish you could literally walk up and lay a hurt, habit, or hang-up down at the cross? To hand it over to Christ and stop holding onto it as a painful reminder of past struggles or disappointments? To gain freedom from any current habits, addictions, or fears? Join us this Thursday night as we do just that. As we near Christmas and remember how Christ’s coming to earth as a baby was the key first step in his plan to ultimately save us from our sins and ourselves, we will take our heavy baggage and lay it at the feet of Christ, who is able and willing to forgive and restore all things. Afterwards, we will partake in a very special time of communion with one another. Hoping you can join us!

“Praise be the the Lord, to God our Saviour, who daily bears our burdens.” Psalm 68:19

Recovery Reminder

Principle 8: Yield myself to God to be used to bring this Good News to others, both by my example and by my words.

Step 12: Having had a spritiual experience as the result of these steps, we try to carry this message to others and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

“Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted.”  Galatians 6:1
