This Thursday is Kendall’s & Tommy’s Testimony!
Come this Thursday night and allow God to encourage and strengthen you through Kendall & Tommy’s testimony. Below is a glimpse at how God has worked in Kendall’s & Tommy’s lives. When we surrender and allow God to transform us, our lives develop meaning, our relationships grow deeper and we are free to become the person God has made us to be.
A little bit of Tommy’s story:
“God transformed my mind and renewed my spirit when I surrendered through an act of faith. I am now living happy, joyous and free. Clean and sober for over 18 months. I am experiencing a type of peace and freedom that my words cannot adequately describe. It is supernatural. My relationships are of higher quality and meaningful because I am free to be vulnerable. I have a developing relationship with God. I am accepting who I am in this life and redefining what’s important based on God’s Truth. I am present. I appreciate, value and am grateful for my life.”
Matthew 17:20 says, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
Recovery Reminder
Principle 1: Realize I’m not God. I admit that I am powerless to control my tendency to do the wrong thing and that my life is unmanageable.
“Happy are those who are persecuted because they do what God requires.” Matthew 5:3
Step 1: We admitted we were powerless over our addictions and compulsive behaviors, that our lives had become unmanageable.
“I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out.” Romans 7:18
