MEN’S COIN CEREMONY!
Led by Lamar, Phil, & Derrick.
“You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor shall there be any after me.”Isaiah 43:10
It is amazing the bonds we form when we share experiences with other people. When we are going through a situation, whether good or bad, it is so valuable to have people in your life that will walk through it and share that experience with you. Particularly when it is a difficult situation that you’re facing, it is equally valuable and important to also seek the wisdom of those that have gone before you and already faced that same or a similar experience. Because they have walked in your shoes, they are able to provide counsel and encouragement to you in very specific and meaningful ways that others simply could not manage.
Join us this week as we hear from some of our Celebrate Recovery participants. We will hear from a group of Men who have finished a Step Study, “The Journey Begins” (Books 1-4). They will share their experience of how God has worked in their lives through Celebrate Recovery & this Step Study.
Our hope is that their stories and the victories God has given them will serve as great encouragement to you as you navigate your road to recovery.
“So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised.” – Hebrews 10:35-36
Recovery Reminder
Principle 7: Reserve a daily time with God for self-examination, Bible reading, and prayer in order to know God and His will for my life and to gain the power to follow His will.
Step 10: We continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong, promptly admitted it. “So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall!” 1 Corinthians 10:12
