Testimonies – FREEDOM FROM ABUSE
October is Domestic Violence Awareness month. In honor of that, we will be having a “Family Talk Night” at Celebrate Recovery this week. We will hear three short testimonies of participants who have faced the issue of domestic violence. We will hear how they brought their brokenness before the Lord, seeking His help to transform it into wholeness.
If you know anyone that may benefit from hearing these encouraging stories of hope and healing, please invite them to join us this Thursday night.
PLEASE NOTE: The Landing & Women’s Open Share Groups have changed locations. For new room assignments, please see the updated signs that will be displayed throughout the building.
Recovery Reminder
Principle 7: Reserve a daily time with God for self-examination, Bible reading, and prayer in order to know God and His will for my life and to gain the power to follow His will.
Step 10: We continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong, promptly admitted it.
“So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall!” 1 Corinthians 10:12
